In Term 2 the Year 1 classes learnt about Jesus. We learnt that Jesus wore a tunic, mantle, girdle and sandals.

We learnt that Jesus learnt in the temple rather than a school.

We learnt that Jesus played tag, hide and seek, collected stones and shells and climbed trees. He didn’t have a device and he didn’t have many of the toys we have today.

Jesus ate fish, bread, dried fruit, cheese and other things that didn’t have sugar in them.

We had a wonderful Jesus Day where we dressed up in Jesus clothes, played the type of games Jesus would have played and tasted the yummy food Jesus would have eaten.
