Manuka Class (Rm 6) has been learning about Vincent Van Gogh, his life and work. As part of our studies, we have created a giant version of Van Gogh’s famous ‘Starry Night painting. Each student chose a section of the painting, and recreated it using oil pastels. We then pieced it all together again like a giant jigsaw.
We are now repeating the task but using coloured felt tip pens and, this time, decorating our chosen section with patterns and colours of our choice. We have no idea what this will look like when we’ve finished – watch this space!
We are so proud of our work. Collaborative art is awesome!
